Lily came from a local rescue who works hard to place several cats and kittens every year. Lily was part of a “normal” litter of kittens who were easily adopted into loving homes. Lily has no tail, and much like Scooter, suffers from the problems that plague a kitty missing those associated nerves also. She is fecal incontinent, and her rescuer was at wit’s end trying to help Lily have normal stools.
She’s a real sweetheart! Scooter’s decided she’s okay to play with, as have the other cats and even the dogs. She finds Roger Rabbit the most interesting and spends a good part of her day climbing Roger’s cage and hanging out!
Update 10/06 ~ Sadly, Lily passed away during the day today, and we really don’t know why. She probably had other birth defects we weren’t aware of yet; she lay down for a nap and never woke up. What a special spirit who will be dearly missed…. |
