A Sanctuary For Elderly & Special Needs Animals    

  Welcome to the Golden Hearts Animal Sanctuary!

 

We rescue and provide permanent sanctuary for elderly and disabled dogs, cats, and farm animals.

  Our residents are living with a variety of health issues, including cancer, physical disability, autoimmune disease, or ailments associated with old age.  These are conditions that would most likely qualify them for euthanasia in a traditional animal shelter.

Once they make their way here, they are given veterinary care, a warm meal, and a warm bed. Lots of hugs and kisses surround their frail bodies while they recover. We work with veterinarians skilled in Western and Eastern medicine to develop the best wellness plan for each animal.

  Here, our special needs residents become part of our family. They are free to live their lives treated with dignity and respect, and are surrounded with love.
